The

Senior Product Manager

will work directly with the Head of Qantas Money Payments as part of the Qantas Money Payments Leadership Team and is critical to the execution of our businesses strategy. You will be responsible for the running of Qantas Money Credit Card portfolio. As part of this role, you will also have ownership over the day-to-day white-label partner(s) relationship. As result, the role’s scope spans across: significant input over critical commercial negotiations with external partners; on-going partner management; and optimisation of the performance of the business jointly with our white-label partners.

Internally, you will orchestrate and be the overall business lead across campaign \& offer development, and product \& project roadmap prioritisation efforts. This role is also tasked with exploring new product development as a way of diversifying our revenue streams within the Qantas Money Payments portfolio.

You will also act in a coaching capacity for junior members across the Squad, assisting these junior members achieve their development plans \& goals whilst being accountable for achieving EBIT and engagement KPIs set for the Qantas Money Payments portfolio.

What You’ll Bring:

Minimum 8 years’ experience within financial services and / or professional services industry (with experience in payments highly preferred)

Involvement in new business development and implementation

Extensive experience in developing approved investment cases

Direct involvement in commercial negotiations and portfolio management

Exposure to design thinking, agile delivery and/or lean processes

A structured and lateral thinking style with the capability to quickly understand and apply new concepts

Highly analytical, with an ability to analyse and synthesise large amounts of qualitative and quantitative information, then develop insights and clearly communicate recommendations at an Executive level

The ability to work in and contribute to a high performing, collaborative and fun team environment

Strong leadership qualities as they manage/lead a cross-functional team in the delivery of campaigns and/or new product innovation.

Resourceful and highly organised with proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks to meet strict deadlines

A strong work ethic and a passion for drawing out and driving creativity and innovation
