Senior DevOps Engineer – Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Build \& Release / DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure management, and container orchestration. This role requires close collaboration with Engineering, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities* Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git-based workflows.
Manage and optimize infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible.
Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Administer and optimize artifact repositories (Nexus, YUM, Docker registries).
Maintain and scale HAProxy/NGINX load balancers and Apache web servers.
Support and automate upgrades/migrations across Linux (RHEL/OEL 8) environments.
Collaborate with Security/Compliance teams for artifact signing, FedRAMP/SOC2 readiness, and vulnerability scanning.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability across pods.
Drive best practices in observability, logging, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps process improvements.
Required Skills \& Experience* 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps/SRE/Build \& Release engineering.

Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or Groovy) for automation.
Nice to Have* Experience with Atlassian Data Center products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
Knowledge of Vault, Consul, or equivalent secret/state management systems.
Exposure to CI/CD for large-scale enterprise environments (2000+ users, multi-cluster setups).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
Background in FedRAMP/GovCloud or other high-compliance environments.
