About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our remote team. In this role, you will leverage your deep expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to drive business insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, marketing, and operations, to deliver scalable and impactful data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and deploy advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve real-world business problems.

Lead end-to-end data science projects: from problem definition, data collection, and cleaning, to modeling, evaluation, and deployment.

Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure high data quality and model performance.

Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and help shape data strategy.

Contribute to the development of data science best practices and mentor junior data scientists.

Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and big data technologies.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. Ph.D. is a plus.

7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

Strong experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Expertise in SQL and experience working with relational and non-relational databases.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Solid understanding of statistical modeling, A/B testing, and experimental design.

Proven experience deploying models into production environments.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Comfortable working in a fully remote and distributed team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).

Background in a specific domain such as finance, healthcare, e-commerce, or marketing analytics.

Knowledge of MLOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow).

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: ₹966,101.00 - ₹4,056,946.32 per year
