You \& your role

Design and engineer the automation behind Oracle database services that power essential banking applications. As a DevOps Engineer, you enhance platform reliability through tooling, integration and continuous improvement while shaping secure, high‑quality solutions used across Rabobank. You work hands-on with automation, platform engineering and performance management.

Examples from practice

Designing automated provisioning flows for Oracle RDBMS environments.

Building CI/CD pipelines that improve deployment speed and reduce manual effort.

Developing monitoring and performance‑management tooling using Oracle Enterprise Manager.

Top 3 responsibilities

Automating Oracle platform operations by developing scalable scripts and pipelines that improve consistency and reduce operational workload across teams.

Engineering secure technical solutions by integrating regulatory controls and compliance requirements directly into the ODP platform workflows.

Maintaining and optimizing the Oracle Database Platform and Oracle Enterprise Manager to ensure high availability and performance for mission‑critical applications.

Support the team with detailed design, integration improvements and further automation capabilities to strengthen the platform.

You \& your talent

  • At least 5 years of experience with Oracle database platform engineering from an infrastructure and security perspective.

Extensive experience in automation (Ansible, Azure DevOps) and scripting, including Python.

Strong knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager, ZFS, ZDLRA, ExaCC and OCI.

Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.

Analytical and detail‑oriented working style.

Ownership and result‑driven problem‑solving ability.

Proficient in English (B2 level).

Proficient in Dutch (B1 level)
