Senior Product Manager – Home Storage

Location: Hamburg, Germany (Hybrid – up to 2 remote days/week)

Now, we’re taking the next step: expanding into home battery storage. Following a successful pilot with a white-label hardware partner, we’re ready to scale and make energy storage a core part of our product ecosystem.

As Senior Product Manager – Home Storage, you’ll lead this initiative end-to-end — shaping the strategy, managing supplier relationships, and creating an exceptional, connected experience for our customers. This is a unique opportunity to define one of Rabot’s next-generation products and help households take full control of their renewable energy usage.

Own and drive the product vision and roadmap for Rabot’s home storage solution — from pilot stage to full-scale rollout.

Manage relationships with our white-label hardware supplier, ensuring quality, reliability, and innovation at every stage.

Define how storage integrates into the Rabot app, collaborating with Design and Engineering to build seamless, intuitive user experiences.

Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Data, and Operations to continuously improve product performance and user satisfaction.

Turn customer insights and business goals into actionable requirements, KPIs, and OKRs.

Align stakeholders across Connectivity, Customer Success, and Commercial teams to deliver a cohesive product experience.

Be the internal and external ambassador for Rabot’s storage product — representing it to customers, partners, and leadership.

Must-Have Experience

5+ years of product management experience, ideally in hardware/software, energy, or smart home technology.

Proven experience managing third-party suppliers or OEM/white-label partnerships.

Strong understanding of Agile product management, including OKRs and data-driven decision-making.

Technical fluency, enabling effective collaboration with both hardware and software engineers.

Excellent communication skills in English and German (C1 or higher).

A customer-first mindset, with the ability to translate complex technology into clear, valuable experiences.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience in battery storage, renewable energy, or smart home ecosystems.

Knowledge of IoT platforms, connected devices, or app-based control systems.

Background in UX or user research, guiding teams to design intuitive, accessible interfaces.

A strong, collaborative partnership with our hardware supplier is established and delivering consistent value.

The first scaled version of Rabot’s home storage solution successfully launches to customers.

The Rabot app offers a seamless, integrated experience for energy storage monitoring and control.

Customer feedback loops and performance KPIs actively inform roadmap decisions.

You’ve become the go-to expert for Home Storage within Rabot, driving clarity, alignment, and progress across teams.
