About the Role
We are expanding our in-house manufacturing and engineering operations and are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support CNC production, CAM programming, and CAD design activities.
This is a hybrid technical role ideal for someone who enjoys working both on the shop floor and in engineering software, and who wants to grow within a modern manufacturing environment.
You will work closely with the Plant Manager \& Director of Engineering to support production, assist with programming and design tasks, and help build scalable manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
CNC Operation
Operate CNC lathes and mills for production and prototype parts
Load/unload parts, monitor cycles, and perform in-process inspections
Assist with machine setups, fixturing, and tooling changes
Identify machining or quality issues and escalate as needed
CAM Programming Support
Assist with creating and modifying CNC programs
Edit feeds, speeds, tool offsets, and setup parameters
Help document setups and tooling requirements
Participate in first-article and process prove-outs
CAD Design Support
Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings
Update drawings for revisions and production feedback
Apply dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications under guidance
Maintain organized CAD files and documentation
General Manufacturing Support
Assist with tooling prep, fixture assembly, and production readiness
Support process improvement and data collection (cycle time, scrap, etc.)
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Follow all safety and quality procedures
Required Qualifications
Experience operating CNC machines (lathe and/or mill)
Basic CAM software experience (Fusion, Mastercam, CAMWorks, etc.)
Basic 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar)
Ability to read technical drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Reliable, professional, and able to take direction
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
Experience with small-batch or performance/precision components
Familiarity with GD\&T
Experience assisting with setups or fixture work

Pay: $26.00-$33.00 per hour

AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
