*What will your role as our DevOps Engineer look like?*

As our DevOps Engineer you will be able to use your passion for DevOps to play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, as well as supporting production environments. Your work will be critical to ensuring efficient software delivery for the business. You will work closely with different internal teams, other DevOps engineers, software engineers, and technologists across the business.

Key responsibilities:

Design, build and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using AWS and Azure

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform

Deliver the Platform Team goals for 2025 and beyond

Essential skills and experience:

2+ years of experience in a DevOps environment, SRE, or related role

Solid experience in AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly with Terraform

Automation and configuration management

Scripting abilities in languages like Python, PowerShell, and Bash

Version control using Git, CI/CD pipeline management using Jenkins

Networking fundamentals and security practices

Monitoring, logging and alerting implementations

Incident management and troubleshooting skills

Cost optimisation for cloud resources

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

The ability to maintain and support production platforms

Desirable:

Cloud platform expertise in Azure

Familiarity with Java and Golang

Containerization and orchestration skills (Docker, Kubernetes)

Familiarity with PKI and Certificate Authorities

Knowledge of encryption protocols
