Junior Application Manager (f/m/x)

Join our agile team dedicated to managing market risk and balance sheet risk at Raiffeisenbank International. We provide cutting-edge solutions and have a significant impact on the RBI Group. Our Market Risk System (MRS) runs on AWS and integrates data from various banking systems, using Java, SQL, and Python for data processing. Our UC4-based job scheduler is central to our operations.
Your mission at RBI:
Support the Market Risk System's daily operations, including troubleshooting and system maintenance
Perform housekeeping tasks such as file store management and database tuning
Deploy system changes using our deployment pipeline
Ensure compliance with our bank's IT processes and documentation standards
Collaborate closely with developers (business quants and IT), Raiffeisen Informatik and users to optimize our system

Your core competencies:
Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related field
Strong knowledge of SQL and basic knowledge on Linux Operating systems
Experience with Java, Python or scripting languages is a plus
Familiarity with AWS and UC4 job scheduling is a plus
Understanding of banking products and risk management is a plus
Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (MS Teams, MS Power BI, MS OneDrive) is advantageous
Excellent English communication skills

Salary: the offered gross yearly salary ranges starting 45.000 Euro (basis full-time) excluding overtime, depending on qualification and experience.
