Responsibilities:
Required to translate technical systems specifications into working tested applications.
This includes:
Developing detailed programming specifications
Writing and/or generating code
Design and creation of SQL databases
Compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests
Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations
Desired Skills:
Biztalk (HL7)
Azure DevOps (CI/CD Pipelines, repos, work item creation/management)
Azure Cloud
Evaluation Criteria:
Visual Studio .NET development.: 40 Points
SQL database design and creation.: 40 Points
Azure DevOps .: 10 Points
Azure Cloud.: 10 Points
Total evaluation criteria: 100 Points
Deliverables
Deliverables Include, but are not limited to:
OCR ePath Stage Improvements (Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC) Proposal) – Need to design and build a solution to parse Azure Machine Learning output (flat file) into a database. The data must then be transferred to the application database based on specific logic.
Stage v26 annual release – Annual release for the Staging suite of applications. Involves the installation and configuration of 3rd party applications and some database management.
Must Haves:
7+ years experience Microsoft Visual Studio (.NET)
7+ years experience SQL Server (database creation and management)
Nice to Have:
Web deployment and development
Public Sector Experience
