Responsibilities
Senior Full Stack Developer (React \& Python) - 12 Month Contract Are you a seasoned Full Stack Developer with a passion for building robust, scalable applications using modern technologies? We have an exciting 12-month contract opportunity to join a world-renowned organisation. This is an end-to-end full stack role where you will be instrumental in developing a new web application from architecture to deployment. You will be responsible for:
Data Architecture: Designing and establishing standard data schemas, including integrating data from tools like Picasso and LineLab.
Back-End Mastery: Designing, developing, and maintaining REST-based microservices using Python frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django. This includes managing complex data integration (flat files, databases, APIs) and ensuring data quality.
Database Management: Designing efficient database schemas for a complex, multi-level item catalog (SQL/NoSQL).
Front-End Development: Building a "pleasant front end" web application using React (or similar framework like Angular/Vue.js), implementing user-facing components for catalog configuration and management.
Full SDLC Ownership: Overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, robust testing (unit, integration, and E2E), deployment, and maintenance.
We are looking for a candidate who is ready to hit the ground running with the following core skills:
Extensive Full Stack Software Development experience.
Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly REACT.
Strong commercial experience with Python and building microservices (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django).
Proven ability to work with various databases (SQL and NoSQL).
Solid Business Analysis skills to help gather requirements and design effective solutions.
