Our client is a well-established insurance firm, and they are seeking a senior-level frontend developer to join their business.
about the job.
Participate in the frontend development of robust and scalable systems/web platforms.
Drive the design and implementation of modern user interfaces with a focus on accessibility and performance.
Collaborate with the backend teams to to integrate new features and unique consumer-facing product.
Work with various databases to ensure seamless data integration and efficient performance.
Involved in defining and maintaining the architecture of frontend development and improving existing products based on the industy trend
Research the latest technologies and provide suggestions for product development strategies
skills & experiences required.
Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in frontend development, preferably in an Agile/Scrum environment.
With a background working at insurance, investment, or asset management firm is highly preferred.
Solid experience in React/Vue, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, and NoSQL.
A good understanding of frontend design and development best practices.
Experience with version control systems or CI/CD tools such as Git.
Prior experience in backend development with Java would be advantageous but is not required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Proficiency in both spoken and written Cantonese and English is a must.
