The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Software Development Team:

RTX Enterprise Data Services Organization is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer - DevSecOps, CI/CD (Manager,(hands-on) Software Development) to design next generation cutting-edge CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure that powers mission-critical applications.

Join us in building platforms that enable engineering teams to deploy code safely, efficiently, and at scale.

What You Will Do:

Architect \& Build scalable CI/CD pipelines for multiple services and platforms

Innovate with library/template-based pipeline orchestrators for maximum code reusability

Automate deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling) that ensure zero-downtime releases

Scale Infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments

Empower Teams with self-service deployment tools and comprehensive documentation

Lead Strategically - influence decisions and drive alignment across organizational boundaries

Shape Architecture - collaborate on Reference Architectures and Design Patterns

Stay Ahead by continuously evaluating emerging technologies and services

Qualifications You Must Have:

Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in DevOps/Platform Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 5+ years’ related work experience

CI/CD tools proficiency (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration mastery

Programming skills in Python, Go, or Shell scripting

Current U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

Hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments

Microservices architecture and distributed systems experience

Security best practices including vulnerability scanning and compliance frameworks

ML/AI Infrastructure experience (MLOps pipelines, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

AI Orchestration tools (Kubeflow, MLflow, model deployment platforms)

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
