Cloud Security Engineer (Day Rate Contract)
We are looking for an experienced
Cloud Security Engineer
to join our client's team on a
day-rate contract
basis.
This role will play a key part in strengthening the cloud security posture, ensuring secure architecture, and implementing best practices across cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement security controls across cloud infrastructure.
Manage and enhance
Identity and Access Management (IAM)
policies and controls.
Implement and maintain
encryption strategies
for data at rest and in transit.
Secure cloud
networking architecture
, including segmentation, firewalls, and secure connectivity.
Deploy and manage
Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
solutions.
Identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies across cloud environments.
Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to embed security into cloud platforms.
Ensure alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.
Required Experience
Proven experience as a
Cloud Security Engineer
or similar role.
Strong expertise in
IAM
, encryption, and cloud networking security.
Hands-on experience with
Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
tools.
Experience securing large-scale cloud environments.
Strong understanding of cloud-native security services and best practices.
Certifications
AWS Certified Security – Specialty
(or equivalent cloud security certification).
