Senior Data Engineer
Daily Rate Contract

We have partnered with a client in Dublin that is looking to bring in an experienced Data Engineer that has excellent experience in building scalable, reliable data pipelines.
Responsibilities:
Design, build and operate scalable, reliable data pipelines and data warehouses supporting analytics and reporting.
Be accountable for pipeline performance, data freshness, and operational readiness.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts and product owners to convert business needs into data products.
Establish and enforce data engineering standards, data quality processes and monitoring.
Mentor engineers and lead continuous improvement across the data platform.
Maintain Data Quality standards and staying up to date with the latest data governance tools and technologies
Skills Required:
5+ years experience in a Data Engineering role
Strong Python programming skills and experience with PySpark \& complex SQL queries
Must have experience in data lake technologies, ideally Databricks
Experience working on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Strong experience in ETL
Sound knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Track record of delivering complex data pipeline solutions at an enterprise scale
Experience working in an Agile environment
