Senior DevOps Engineer (Permanent)
We are engaging a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer on a permanent basis for a Dublin-based opportunity. The role requires deep, hands-on expertise in containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure automation to support the design, scaling, and optimization of cloud-based platforms and services.
Location:
Dublin (hybrid model with weekly on-site presence)
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and operate containerized application platforms using Docker and Kubernetes
Administer, configure, and optimize virtual machine–based workloads across cloud environments
Architect, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and efficient application delivery
Develop and maintain infrastructure automation solutions to ensure scalability, resilience, and repeatability
Work closely with software engineering teams to standardize and streamline deployment and release processes
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure, platform, and deployment-related issues
Produce and maintain technical documentation covering architectures, processes, and operational best practices
Required Skills \& Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration platforms
Demonstrated expertise in provisioning, managing, and optimizing virtual machine workloads within cloud environments
Advanced understanding of CI/CD pipeline architecture, tooling, and implementation patterns
Proven experience using infrastructure automation and configuration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent technologies
Solid knowledge of cloud networking concepts, including routing, load balancing, security groups, and DNS
Extensive experience working with Linux/Unix-based operating systems in production environments
Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar
