With responsibility for new product development for the Veet brand, working with other business functions to develop consumer preferred products. Providing detailed technical input into all aspects of support for the Veet portfolio, supporting technical projects across a range of product formats, ensuring they are progressed to the required standard and agreed timelines.
Your responsibilities
Provide technical and strategic project support for several projects - working within an R\&D team accountable for delivery of NPD/EPD/BDI projects through effective planning and management of functional work, while highlighting any issues to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
Representing R\&D as an active member of the cross functional team • Ensuring all technical work is performed on time, in budget and to required standards and cost
Ensure all products are developed in-line with Reckitt global quality manuals and statutory quality requirements, particularly Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Performing required lab work and providing guidance / assistance to other team members as required to achieve project milestones
Carry out stability technical assessment and writing reports/risk assessments, as well as writing dossier
Reviewing raw material technical information and creating internal raw materials and formulation documentations.
Build detailed technical knowledge of respective area of product portfolio and leverage this within day-to-day activities
Solve technical problems using experience, knowledge, research and advice from peers/ seniors.
Communication and project updates to Senior Management
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team with respect to new technologies, procedures and/or processes, compliance, H\&S and audit readiness
The experience we're looking for
Experience of supporting / leading technical aspects of product development within an R\&D Healthcare or FMCG or Medical Device or similar environment
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary project team, building cross functional relationships with good partnership skills
Good knowledge of theoretical and desirably also practical aspects of formulation science
Innovative approach to generate ideas for consumer compelling products and new claims
Independently minded, results orientated, proactive problem solver with an ability to evaluate and take calculated risks
Strong communication skills and the ability to think strategically to transform ideas into reality within the area of continuous improvements e.g. procedures and/or processes, test methods etc.
