Surrey (Hybrid – 2 days onsite / 3 days remote)

£65,000 – £75,000 per annum

A software company based in Surrey is looking to hire an
Azure DevOps Engineer
to join their growing DevOps team. This is an excellent opportunity to join at an exciting time, contributing to the design, implementation, maintenance, and documentation of Azure-hosted environments that support robust, scalable, and cost-effective systems.
Key Responsibilities
Implementing and maintaining Azure-hosted infrastructure and DevOps processes
Supporting continuous deployment pipelines and microservices-based architectures
Managing containerised workloads and orchestration platforms
Ensuring platform reliability, scalability, performance tuning, and monitoring
Working closely with development and infrastructure teams to improve delivery and operational efficiency
Key Skills \& Experience
2+ years’ experience implementing and maintaining DevOps processes
Docker containers (Linux \& Windows)
Kubernetes and container orchestration (AKS)
CI/CD and continuous deployments
Microservices architecture
Centralised logging and health checks
Azure Pipelines
Azure SQL (Databases, Elastic Pools, SQL MI)
Azure Service Bus or other message bus solutions (e.g. RabbitMQ)
Azure Git or equivalent source control
PowerShell scripting
MS SQL experience
IIS and Nginx
Azure Application Insights
Azure Load Testing
Cosmos DB
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Platform performance tuning and optimisation experience
