And a little bit ofâŠ
Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational-wide objectives even if this means doing things that arenât strictly within the scope of your role.
Your qualification
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
Principal, Staff or tech lead level of experience as a Software Engineer, in fullstack, frontend or backend capacity, including both successes and failures (âscarsâ), which help you make better decisions
Deep understanding of modern web application development, tools and techniques
Experience in working on major systems in one or more languages: You have extensive practical experience in either frontend or backend development. If focused on frontend, youâve worked with modern frameworks to build user interfaces that consume APIs. If focused on the backend, youâve designed and built RESTful APIs, integrated with data storage layers. Regardless of specialisation, you understand core web concepts like HTTP, security principles, and how frontend and backend systems interact in a full-stack architecture
Youâll have had experience of delivering architectural change in one or more large complex systems
We know that people are more than whatâs on their CV. If youâre unsure that you have the right profile for the role... hit the âApplyâ button and give it a try!
