About The Role LexisNexis Risk Solutions is looking to recruit a talented Java software engineer to join our fast-growing Dublin team. You will be responsible for implementing and delivering scalable and robust enterprise software solutions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can handle several competing priorities. Above all, we seek an eagerness to learn new things while staying abreast of emerging emerging technologies and industry trends.
Responsibilities* Designing, prototyping, and implementing robust applications using best-practice, agile development processes.
Working with technologies including Java, AWS, Azure, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
Building cloud infrastructure to run and monitor applications, while automating common tasks.
Collaborating as part of an agile and quality-focused team to deliver tangible value to our customers.
Requirements* Excellent programming skills, focusing on Java.
Knowledge of Behaviour-Driven Testing (BDD) practices is preferred, though not mandatory.
Open to learning new technologies and new problem domains.
Eager to review code and able to communicate clearly and efficiently.
Experience with cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
Genuine enthusiasm for experimenting with technology and software.
An inclusive, positive, collaborative mindset with the desire to deliver real business value.
Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
