In this role, youâll be part of a talented group of engineers developing and maintaining the software that powers RCTâs world-leading automation and control products â from autonomous mining equipment to advanced data acquisition systems. Youâll contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through implementation, testing, and support.
What youâll do
Participate in all stages of software design, implementation, testing and product release.
Support testing on both simulated and physical vehicles or autonomous systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing products and help deliver next-generation solutions.
Report progress, contribute to planning, and continuously improve development processes.
What youâll bring
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 2 yearsâ experience in software design or development.
Strong programming skills in relevant languages.
Experience using Jira or other time and issue management tools.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
Clear written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
