Role Description

We’re looking for a Junior Developer who enjoys working with both code and data. You’ll play a key role in supporting and maintaining our internal applications, keeping data up to date, and assisting with reporting and analytics. This is an on-site role in Perth, ideal for someone early in their development career who wants to grow their technical and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Support and maintain internal applications (Python / Node.js / PostgreSQL)

Perform data updates, validation, and quality checks across systems

Conduct analysis and reporting using Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)

Write and maintain small automation scripts for data workflows

Troubleshoot bugs and support day-to-day system operations

Collaborate with the team to prepare data for dashboards and reports

Qualifications

2–4 years’ experience in AI, ML, or NLP development

Proficiency in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn)

Hands-on experience with RAG architectures and vector databases

Knowledge of LLM APIs, embeddings, and prompt engineering

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Haves

Experience with LangChain, OpenAI, Anthropic, or LlamaIndex

Understanding of MLOps, data pipelines, and containerisation (Docker, GitHub Actions)

Familiarity with cloud deployment environments.
