Job Description Software Engineer (Ref. No.: ReSaTech-SE)
Duties
The appointees will report to the Senior R\&D Manager. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying AI-driven software solutions for real-world applications, focusing on computer vision and anomaly detection. This role requires designing and implementing high-performance software systems, ensuring scalability and reliability for industrial environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for creating innovative solutions that address complex challenges.
1. Develop, test, and deploy AI-driven software solutions for computer vision and anomaly detection applications.
2. Design and implement reliable software systems for real-time video processing and monitoring.
3. Create and optimize algorithms to detect and address image quality issues and other visual anomalies.
4. Optimize system performance to ensure scalability, robustness, and efficiency across diverse operational environments.
5. Conduct comprehensive software testing, debugging, and validation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI systems with existing infrastructures seamlessly.
7. Document technical processes, deployment procedures, and provide ongoing support for deployed systems.
Qualifications
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency with Python, with the ability to write clean, efficient code (experience with other programming languages such as C++ or Java is a plus).
Foundational knowledge or hands-on experience in the following areas:
Computer vision techniques and applications, including object detection and anomaly detection.
Real-time video processing and performance optimization for monitoring systems.
Working with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
4. Ability to independently develop software solutions, from requirement analysis to deployment.
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Familiarity with software testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
7. Proficiency in written and spoken English (knowledge of Cantonese is a plus).
