Our client is looking for a contract based DevOps engineer responsible for building, deploying, and operating secure Azure-based infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD best practices.
The role ensures repeatability, auditability, and compliance across all environments supporting SOX-regulated identity platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deploy Azure infrastructure using Terraform and IaC principles
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for API and platform deployments
Implement secure configuration standards aligned with SOX requirements
Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure smooth releases
Maintain consistent and secure environments across dev, test, and production
Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
Manage secrets securely using Azure Key Vault
Ensure infrastructure access controls, logging, and audit evidence meet SOX standards
Support internal and external audits by providing control evidence and documentation
Proactively identify and remediate infrastructure or pipeline risks
Requirements
5+ years of DevOps or cloud engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with: Azure DevOps, Terraform
Proven experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
Strong background in CI/CD pipeline automation
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Azure Application Insights)
Knowledge of secure secret management and access control practices
Experience supporting systems under SOX or regulatory compliance
Nice to Have
Experience supporting IAM or IGA platforms
Familiarity with audit frameworks and compliance reporting
Exposure to regulated enterprise environments (finance, aerospace, public sector)
Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
