Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for implementing platforms and automation that empower developers while ensuring compliance and operational excellence. You’ll play a key role in streamlining development workflows, enhancing platform reliability, and embedding observability and governance into our infrastructure.
Automation for Developer Enablement:
Design and implement automation tools and scripts to reduce manual work and accelerate delivery pipelines.
Create reusable automation patterns for common development and deployment tasks.
Maintenance of Automation Systems:
Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines, build agents, and automation scripts to ensure high availability and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation workflows, runners, and infrastructure components.
Automated Observability Onboarding:
Develop mechanisms to automatically provision monitoring, logging, and alerting for new services and projects.
Integrate observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK) into deployment workflows.
Collaboration \& Support:
Drive work item and issue resolution within the DevSecOps team
Coordinate implementation effort between DevSecOps team and application teams.
Work closely with developers and sys admins to understand their needs and provide support.
Collaborate with colleagues to identify bottlenecks and build solutions that improve deployment speed and reliability.
Document automation processes, onboarding guides, and troubleshooting steps.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
5 years of experience in application development, DevOps or system administration
Prior leadership experience as a technical lead, application support lead or sysadmin lead will be advantageous.
Skills:
Experienced developer, preferably with .Net Core and ReactJS
Proficient in automation scripting using Python, Shell and Powershell
Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure Devops and Github Actions
Familiarity with containerization technology such as Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Datadog
