Ribbon Gang is a digital experience agency working with major retail, manufacturing, and enterprise brands across Australia and Southeast Asia.

We’re looking for a Web Developer with strong Shopify and front-end experience to join our growing team. You’ll work closely with our CTO and developers to build, optimise, and maintain eCommerce sites and digital platforms.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with 2–3 years’ experience who’s ready to take ownership of projects, solve problems independently, and produce clean, scalable code.

What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain Shopify storefronts, themes, and integrations

Build responsive, high-performing front-end interfaces

Customise and extend Shopify using Liquid, JavaScript, and APIs

Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready code

Optimise performance, speed, and accessibility across all devices

Collaborate with designers, strategists, and developers to deliver quality outcomes

What You’ll Bring

2–3 years’ hands-on experience in web development

Strong skills in Shopify / Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

An understanding of front-end performance, accessibility, and UX best practice

Experience integrating apps, APIs, or custom functionality

Familiarity with Git and version control

A proactive approach and eye for detail

Nice to Have

Experience with Shopify Plus, Magento or Adobe Commerce

Knowledge of React or Vue.js

Exposure to analytics, tracking, or CRO tools

An interest in eCommerce strategy and customer experience
