We are seeking an experienced Bulk Product \& Asset Management Lead to join our Operations team within our Fertiliser business based at our new Fisherman Island facility.
Reporting to the Brisbane Operations Manager â Transition, this role is responsible for the safe, efficient and reliable handling, storage and distribution of bulk and packaged fertiliser products, while ensuring strong customer outcomes and supply chain integration.
This is a rare opportunity to build operations from the ground up at a purpose-built site featuring modern bulk blending, dispatch, bagging and liquid coating capabilities.
In this role, you will:
Provide daily operational oversight including planning, scheduling, site logistics and inventory management
Coordinate the receipt and distribution of imported and inter-plant fertiliser products
Manage third-party contracts and contractors, driving performance and strong working relationships
Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance to ensure asset reliability and availability
Contribute to asset lifecycle strategies and major component change-outs
Lead and support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Promote and ensure compliance with Ridley HSE standards, procedures and legislative requirements
Identify and implement process and logistics improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cost

The key skills required for this role include:
10+ yearsâ experience in maintenance execution or coordination (highly desirable)
5+ yearsâ experience in warehousing, distribution, materials handling or logistics
Strong operational planning, safety and people leadership capability
Experience managing third-party contracts and contractors
Working knowledge of SAP, CMMS and automated bulk handling or packing systems
Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical/Electrical) with demonstrated leadership experience or Tertiary qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Business, Supply Chain.

The site
Ridleyâs Brisbane Operations facility at Fisherman Island (Port of Brisbane) is currently under construction and scheduled for completion in the coming months. The site will be a key part of Ridleyâs national distribution network, supporting Queenslandâs agricultural industry.
