Job Description We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic
Junior Developer
to join our software development team in Australia. This is an entry-level role, ideal for recent graduates or early-career developers who want to gain hands-on experience in software development, learn from senior developers, and contribute to real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under guidance
Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software issues
Support the development team in daily tasks and project delivery
Contribute to code reviews and team discussions
Follow software development best practices and coding standards
Learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and frameworks
Required Skills \& Experience
Degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript)
Understanding of software development principles and object-oriented concepts
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Basic understanding of databases and SQL
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Skills \& Qualifications
Exposure to web development frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, .NET, Spring, etc.)
Knowledge of REST APIs and backend services
Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
Internship, university projects, or personal coding projects
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
