The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all logistics and supply chain operations to ensure the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources for ongoing projects. The role involves managing warehouse operations, transportation schedules, inventory control, and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, organize, and manage logistics operations, including transportation, storage, and material distribution.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to various job sites.
Manage warehouse inventory, track stock movement, and ensure accurate documentation.
Develop efficient logistics schedules, delivery routes, and manpower allocation plans.
Negotiate with transporters and suppliers for cost-effective and reliable logistics services.
Monitor and control logistics expenses to stay within budget.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations during loading, unloading, and transportation.
Supervise logistics staff, drivers, and warehouse assistants, providing training and guidance as needed.
Maintain proper records of deliveries, transport logs, and material receipts.
Coordinate with procurement, operations, and project teams for planning material requirements.
Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure vehicles are in safe working condition.
Prepare logistics performance reports and propose improvements to enhance efficiency.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or transport management (preferably in construction or engineering industries).
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and delivery operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and logistics management software.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
Knowledge of WSH and LTA transport regulations in Singapore.
Possession of Class 3 or 4 Driving Licence (advantage).
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple logistics operations simultaneously.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Full-time, office and site-based role.
Working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Monday to Saturday) or as per project schedule.
Work location: Company warehouse and various project sites across Singapore.
May require overtime or weekend work during peak delivery periods.
