We are seeking an experienced Java AWS Developer to join a dynamic and fast-paced team on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge streaming and event-driven platforms that are critical to delivering exceptional user experiences.
You will be part of a highly technical team responsible for developing and maintaining multiple cloud products, including user management systems and scalable streaming platforms. The role involves end-to-end ownership of development, delivery, and continuous improvement in a service-based, API-driven architecture.

This is primarily a backend-focused role, but full-stack exposure is a bonus. You’ll play a key part in ensuring platform scalability, reliability, and performance while contributing to the successful launch of a new platform.
The Role
Build and maintain high-volume, cloud-based systems
Support streaming and event-driven workloads with a focus on smooth delivery
Integrate with internal and external data sources via APIs
Ensure correct subscription and user access management
Contribute to platform scalability, reliability, and performance
Deliver feature work while continuously improving architecture
Ideal Person
Strong Java backend development experience
Expertise in API-heavy environments (e.g., GRPC, agent APIs, URL handling/routing)
Experience working on high-volume or event-driven systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong programming fundamentals
