Roche Diagnostic Solutions is responsible for delivering on our Diagnostics Strategy. Within this, the Core Lab business area plays a key role: we strive to expand global access to innovative diagnostics and empower our customers to improve patient outcomes across the healthcare continuum.

Our Core Lab Customer Area team plays a critical role in bringing innovative solutions to our customers. This dynamic environment requires a holistic approach, delivering projects across various international business teams and at the intersection of Commercial, R\&D, Operations, and Quality \& Regulatory departments. As the International Product Manager for Elecsys and x-LCT projects in the Core Lab Customer Area, you are responsible for all products within the Thyroid Immunoassay portfolio from development, launch preparation, launch execution, on-market support, and obsolescence. At the same time, you are supporting the Core Lab Reagents Lifecycle Team and the Customer Area Core Lab to deliver on its overarching priorities contributing to a holistic customer solution approach by delivering projects across different international business teams at the intersection of Commercial, R\&D, Operations, and Quality \& Regulatory teams, with a key focus on Operational Excellence, License to Operate, and Profitability.

The Opportunity

Drive business results and customer value related to Roche Diagnostic’s Thyroid Immunoassay portfolio:

Strategic Portfolio Management: Spearhead the global strategy and commercial success of the Thyroid Immunoassay portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing customer value.

End-to-End Product Lifecycle Ownership: Orchestrate the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and development through to global launch, on-market management, and eventual obsolescence

Performance Accountability: Assume full ownership of the portfolio's global performance, meticulously tracking and reporting on key performance indicators including commercial success, market adoption, customer experience, product quality, and supply chain stability.

Cross-Functional Matrix Leadership: Lead and inspire a global, cross-functional matrix team (including R\&D, Operations, Regulatory, and Medical \& Scientific Affairs) to deliver products on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Informed Decision-Making: Drive critical decision-making by expertly balancing technical feasibility, commercial viability, and stringent regulatory requirements to optimize product value and market fit.

Commercial Growth Strategy: Develop and execute innovative marketing and commercial strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and fortify the portfolio's competitive position

Regulatory \& Quality Compliance: Ensure unwavering compliance with all corporate regulations and strict adherence to the established Quality Management System (QMS)

Drive strategic projects across Lifecycle Teams at the intersection of Business, Operations, R\&D and Regulatory Affairs in order to improve Operational Excellence and Profitability:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational excellence and profitability improvements along the value chain

Work closely with relevant functions to ensure the license to operate across the full Core Lab Customer Area portfolio on dedicated projects

Who You Are

You have a university degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Marketing, or a related business field

You bring experience in the management of Immunoassay products in the IVD industry and a Scientific, Technical or Product Management background, with 5+ years of experience in related fields.

You have IVD Product Management Expertise: A proven track record with 5+ years in global product management on the technical or commercial side, or a related commercial role within the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry is essential

You possess strong Technical \& Clinical Acumen (Deep technical experience in the development and commercialization of Immunoassays. Specific expertise in the Thyroid disease state is strongly preferred) and Business \& Financial Acumen: Strong command of business and financial principles, with the ability to develop compelling business cases and manage a product P\&L with an enterprise-wide perspective

You are an exceptional leader skilled in:

You can influence \& stakeholder management: Exceptional ability to influence and align stakeholders across a complex global matrix. You must be skilled in communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution to foster positive partnerships and drive consensus

You bring strategic \& analytical thinking: Demonstrated ability to translate market insights and complex data into actionable strategies and a clear portfolio vision. Experience leading strategic initiatives from conception to execution is required

You can be based in Rotkreuz.

At the Company's discretion, an exception to the location requirement could be made under extraordinary circumstances.

As this position is a global role, international business travel will be required depending upon the business location of the successful candidate and ongoing business project activities.
