Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Node.js, JavaScript, AdonisJS, and strong knowledge of MySQL. The ideal candidate should have experience working with REST APIs, version control tools, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms like AWS.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using Node.js / AdonisJS.
Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
Work with MySQL databases: schema design, queries, optimization, and migration management.
Integrate APIs and test them efficiently using Postman.
Collaborate with frontend/mobile teams to deliver seamless features.
Build and maintain applications using microservices architecture.
Manage code repositories using Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in backend development.
Strong knowledge of:
Node.js \& JavaScript
AdonisJS (preferred)
MySQL (queries, indexing, joins)
REST API development
Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.
Good understanding of Git, GitHub, GitLab version control workflows.
Experience with Microservices architecture.
Familiarity with AWS services for deployment and hosting.
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (optional but a plus).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with TypeScript.
Knowledge of Docker / containerization.
Understanding of Redis, queues, or background jobs.
Knowledge of Linux server management.
