Position Available: Sourcing / Category Manager
Location: Vietnam (100% REMOTE)
Reporting to:Headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia
Role Overview
We are seeking a Category Manager with a sharp eye for design, quality, and market trends to drive the growth of our product categories. This role will oversee product assortment, supplier partnerships, pricing strategies, and category performance to ensure we stay at the forefront of modern, luxury-inspired furniture and home goods.
Key Responsibilities
Category Strategy \& Assortment
Develop and execute category strategies aligned with brand vision: luxury quality, accessible pricing, and timeless design.
Curate and manage product assortments inspired by high-end fashion and luxury interiors, while ensuring market competitiveness.
Product \& Market Insights
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Maintain a keen sense of fashion and design trends to ensure products reflect modern lifestyles and high-end aesthetics.
Pricing \& Positioning
Define pricing strategies that balance premium quality with accessible luxury positioning.
Partner with merchandising, finance, and operations to optimize category profitability.
Supplier \& Vendor Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure top-tier product quality, ethical sourcing, and reliable supply chains.
Negotiate terms that support affordability without compromising quality.
Performance \& Growth
Track category KPIs (sales, margins, sell-through, inventory health).
Partner cross-functionally (marketing, design, operations) to maximize product visibility and category success.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or buying, preferably in furniture, home goods, or fashion/luxury retail.
Strong sense of design, style, and consumer trends in high-end markets.
Proven ability to balance premium quality standards with accessible pricing strategies.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about luxury-inspired design and lifestyle.
Work Location
To be announced: primarily based in Vietnam.
Mostly remote: the role is designed to be remote-first, with flexibility to work from home.
In-office as needed: occasional visits to the office may be required in the future to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
