Royalty is no longer a brokerage. After 17 years of operating as a licensed firm in British Columbia with over 140 agents, we reached a turning point. At the start of 2025, we officially let go of our brokerage license to pivot into a pure-play technology company. Royalty.ca is the only platform in existence that integrates Residential, Commercial, and Pre-sale data into one environment. We have moved beyond local boundaries, already indexing over 6,000 pre-sale projects across Canada, the USA, and the UAE.
The Business Model: Subscription + Strategic Lead Flow
Our model is built for scalability and high-margin revenue through two main streams:
Professional SaaS: We provide an essential data tool for the professionals who build and design the world—Developers, Architects, Interior Designers, Marketing Agencies, Engineers, and Consultants.
The Agent Network: We establish exclusive partnerships with top-producing agents in specific geographic areas. These agents pay a monthly subscription fee to receive high-intent leads generated by our platform.
Scaling Revenue: Subscription rates are tied to website traffic and data depth; as our platform grows, so does our revenue.
Data Integrity: As part of their agreement, partner realtors are obligated to provide monthly sold market data updates, ensuring Royalty.ca remains the most accurate platform in the industry.
The Work Ahead: Building the Global Engine
We are in a heavy development phase. This is not a "finished" product; it is a massive undertaking with significant work ahead in three key areas:
National Data Integration: We are moving from local board data to a national API model. Our priority is securing CRA data to complete the Canadian map, followed by a full rollout of national data for the USA and UAE.
Intensive Engineering: We have a deep backlog of coding and development required to aggregate these diverse data sources and optimize our platform for global traffic.
Institutional Sales: We need to aggressively bring our platform to market, targeting REITs, large-scale Developers, and national Brokerages.
The Partner I’m Looking For
I am looking for a Co-CEO and Partner to help me lead this build. I provide the industry vision and the technical foundation; I need you to provide the operational engine and the commercial scale.
Your primary focus will be:
Fundraising: Spearheading a $10M capital raise to fund our national data acquisition and technical expansion.
Team Building: Recruiting and managing a world-class team of engineers and data scientists to handle the heavy technical lifting.
Sales \& Growth: Scaling our subscription model and managing relationships with top-producing agents, brokers, and institutional clients (REITs).
Global Scaling: Navigating the logistics of a tech company operating across three international borders.
