The Role / You'll be our lead engineer and dynamo - thriving with the ebbs and flows of the changing nature of the work we do and taking ownership of the way we build software

You'll be our second team member. If that excites, rather than scares, you - keep reading.

After onboarding, you'll move quickly to understand and tinker with our modular software system and existing development pipleine, finding its limits and discovering its capabilities. Then, you'll take ownership of these and the tech stack and strategically reinvent it for more efficient, productive and reliable software production for the long term, leveraging key technologies already in your skillset whilst expanding it with new ones discovered through your continuous curiosity about software and machine learning (ML).

You'll integrate ML into the workflow and the software we build where approporiate. Working closely with the CEO, both inperson and remotely, you will reactively build software around customer needs through a translation layer (that you'll also build) that takes customer requirements and parses them from spec -\> build -\> deployment. You'll lead and ultimately be accountable for product maintenance, stability, scalability and security. You'll churn out features at speed and iteratively.

You have the following skills:

No-code platforms (e.g. Bubble)

Python and related web technologies (e.g. Flask, SocketIO)

Full Stack Web (HTML, CSS, JS, etc)

Fluent in translating customer needs into software features

Plain-Speaking (i.e. avoid jargon, context-specific communication)

LLM assisted prgoramming (e.g. Codex, Opus, Gemini, etc)

ML Model Training and Deployment (e.g. Tensorflow)

Writing thorough, idiot-proof documentation

Agricultural operations (Bonus)

5-15% meaningful equity

Market-rate salary flexible to situation
