Location: Toronto, ON (HYBRID)

Duration: 12+ Months (with Possible extension)

Client: Public Sector

Pay Rate: $90/hr - $95/hr (CAD)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap while leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products. The role involves managing product backlogs, prioritizing features, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment between business stakeholders and development teams using Agile (Scrum) methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

Prioritize product features and manage the product backlog.

Lead product planning, delivery, and release decisions.

Collaborate with business teams, UX designers, and developers to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Identify and manage product risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.

Track product performance using KPIs and metrics dashboards.

Conduct customer discovery and gather user insights to guide product decisions.

Provide regular product updates and executive-level reporting.

Required Skills:

Strong stakeholder communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.

Experience with Agile/Scrum product delivery methodologies.

Ability to manage product roadmaps, schedules, and risk management.

Experience with backlog management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Pivotal Tracker.

Familiarity with collaboration tools like Confluence, MIRO, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Trello.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred:

Experience working with cross-functional product teams.

Scrum Master experience is an advantage.
