Your Tasks
As Category Manager, you will be responsible for driving category growth and profitability within the Mass Market and Pharmacy channels for Eucerin \& Hansaplast. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans for the brands Eucerin and Hansaplast that optimize product assortment, placement, pricing, and promotions. The Category Manager collaborates closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and to enhance the shopper experience. By leveraging market insights and performance data, the Category Manager aims to maximize category potential and deliver sustainable growth for both brands. Your main responsibilities will include:
Category Management
Drive category growth through retailer collaboration, category strategy, and planogram development.
Lead assortment and distribution strategies to maximize in-store performance and long-term market share.
Develop and deliver compelling sell-in stories and launch plans for new products.
Monitor brand and competitor performance at customer level, taking action as needed.
Ensure optimal shelf execution using space planning tools, especially for Eucerin in Pharmacy channels.
Channel Management
Develop and implement Health Care channel strategies across Mass and Pharmacy.
Act as key contact for sales teams, supporting customer engagement and identifying growth opportunities.
Analyze trade trends and dynamics to optimize brand and assortment strategies per channel.
Support business development through customer acquisition recommendations.
Shopper Insight \& Activation
Identify shopper challenges and lead research initiatives to address key knowledge gaps.
Translate insights into actionable strategies for brands, shoppers, and retailers.
Integrate shopper findings into in-store and out-of-store activation plans.
Your Profile
What it takes to join us:
University or relevant degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field;
Brings at least 2 years of experience in Sales, Brand Management, or Sales \& Category Management — ideally within FMCG - retail - pharma
Native level in Dutch or French \& fluent in English;
Confidence in managing stakeholders and building strong relationships;
Sharp analytical skills. You know how to read the numbers and turn them into smart, actionable strategies;
Natural communicator. Clear, persuasive, and focused on getting result
