Position Summary:
We’re expanding our Product Engineering team at Saarthee - an agile, innovation-driven unit focused on designing, piloting, and scaling cutting-edge technology products that blend analytics, data engineering, and AI.
We’re looking for a Technical Leads - Product Engineering who combines deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong ownership to lead product builds from the ground up.
In this role, you’ll own one core product end-to-end while contributing across multiple product initiatives driving architecture, scalability, and pilot execution. You’ll mentor engineers, define the technical roadmap, and ensure that Saarthee’s product stack is built for performance, innovation, and growth.
Your Role Responsibilities and Duties:* Lead the end-to-end technical development lifecycle — from architecture, design, and implementation to pilot and production.
Own the technical design and delivery of one product while contributing to the engineering direction of others.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Frontend Developers to translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready systems.
Define the technical roadmap and ensure alignment with Saarthee’s long-term product vision.
Drive pilot builds, oversee MVP iterations, and ensure timely and successful product launches.
Build and maintain scalable microservices, APIs, and backend systems.
Oversee and guide DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud architecture for deployment and performance optimization.
Conduct code reviews, ensure technical excellence, and maintain engineering best practices.
Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering a culture of ownership, learning, and innovation.
Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve scalability, maintainability, and delivery speed.
Collaborate with leadership to define engineering metrics and performance goals for product success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8–12 years of hands-on experience in software engineering with at least 3+ years in a lead or architect role.
Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java, with experience in frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Express.js, or Spring Boot.
Expertise in microservices architecture, API design, and distributed systems.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and modern DevOps practices.
Familiarity with frontend technologies (React.js/Angular) and data engineering pipelines (Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Snowflake) preferred.
Experience leading pilot product builds or MVP launches.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional engineering teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
A builder mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, innovation, and accountability in fast-paced product environments.
