At Salvia BioElectronics, you’ll take your first professional steps as a Software Engineer by supporting the digital backbone of our neuromodulation therapy. In this entry-level role, you’ll work closely with experienced engineers to build scripts and internal tools that help our teams work efficiently and reliably.
You’ll operate at the intersection of software, firmware, and medical devices, learning how software supports real hardware used in clinical and development environments.
Your responsibilities
You won’t be expected to do everything on day one. This role is designed for learning, guidance, and gradual ownership. With support and mentorship, you will:
Develop Python scripts to help install, configure, and program medical device equipment
Support the creation and improvement of internal tools used by engineering and equipment teams
Help ensure hardware can be used reliably during verification and testing activities
Assist with tooling for teams such as Failure Analysis or clinical support
Contribute to improving software workflows and automation
Write clear documentation so tools are easy to understand and reuse
You’ll collaborate with colleagues from Software, Product, Engineering, and Equipment, gaining exposure to a multidisciplinary medical device environment.

You havebasic hands-on experience with Python (from studies, projects, or internships)
You communicate clearly and ask questions when you don’t know something
You hold a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience is a bonus: potential, mindset, and willingness to learn are key.
