 Working Student (m/f/d) Software Engineering? You’ll support our engineering team in developing and improving the software behind our platform and gain hands-on experience with real features and modern development practices. Through code reviews, technical research and close collaboration with experienced developers, you’ll quickly expand your skills. You’ll also contribute to automated tests and documentation to help ensure product quality.

Your responsibilities

Implementing smaller software features and assisting with bug fixes under guidance

Writing, maintaining and improving automated tests as well as contributing to documentation

Supporting the team with technical research tasks and participating in code reviews to learn best practices

Helping to maintain and enhance our build systems and development workflows

Your qualifications

Enrollment in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (working student)

Basic programming experience with Ruby on Rails and understanding of web development fundamentals

Eagerness to learn, grow and work independently while asking questions when needed

Good communication skills in English and willingness to collaborate

Availability of 15–20 hours per week and ability to work from our Berlin office twice per week

Familiarity with Git and version control

First experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, automated testing or databases (PostgreSQL)

Interest in software security, data protection and/or German language skills is a plus
