Over the past few years, Sanofi has launched an ambitious digital transformation program of its industrial processes, particularly within the MSAT and Engineering teams. This transformation aims to enhance the agility, reliability, and efficiency of technical and scientific operations across the entire industrial network.
As part of the strategic Launch Engine program, one of the key pillars is the deployment of the iCapture solution. This digital product enables the digitization, standardization, and automation of critical data capture throughout the product lifecycle, from development to commercial production. iCapture serves as a Core Model for technical data management, facilitating compliance, traceability, and real-time analysis. Its progressive global rollout supports the performance and operational excellence ambitions of each industrial entity.
iCapture project is also part of a broader digital transformation initiative, in synergy with other strategic programs such as SimplY and smart factory projects. Together, these programs aim to build a connected, predictive, and resilient industrial infrastructure.
These transformations are fully aligned with the adoption of agile methodologies and the evolution of our ways of working toward greater flexibility, collaboration, and user-centricity.
What you will be doing:
The position will contribute to the extended Digital MSAT \& Engineering team, with a particular focus on iCapture product, whose key objectives are as follows: offer one unique solution to collect data related to production data in an electronic way replace legacy solutions SFD \& APEX MDE ; Push these data into snowflake to optimize the use of these data ; secure the ambitious deployment program.
Mission: Deliver a robust, innovative, ready-to-use, and easy-to-deploy digital solution to support Sanofi’s global industrial strategy and harmonize technical and scientific practices across the industrial network.
Ambition: Establish iCapture as a Core Model for technical data capture and management, recognized as a Center of Excellence (CoE) providing leadership, best practices, innovation, and training in the digitalization of MSAT \& Engineering activities.
Key Activities:
Define the digital strategy aligned with MSAT \& Engineering business needs, within the framework of the Launch Engine program.
Design, deliver, and maintain the global iCapture solution, supporting both deployment and run phases.
Manage the application portfolio related to iCapture, ensuring consistency, scalability, and performance.
Lead new digital initiatives around data capture, automation, and advanced analytics.
Support the development of digital and business skills within both local and global teams.
Key Accountability
As Digital Product Owner for iCapture, you will be responsible of:
Lead and support our Agile transformation, using Agile tools, maintain product vision and roadmap, product backlog management, user story definition, sprint planning and execution and continuous improvement.
Manage project delivery and documentation at both functional and technical level to ensure proper execution of the requirements collections, process and solution documentation, solution development, delivery and testing within defined milestones
Updating or providing input to cost benefit analysis, risk assessments, business cases and development plans, to take account of design decisions
Secure and coordinate the definition of the applicative and infrastructure roadmaps of the deployment, improving performance \& robustness, security \& data confidentiality, evolution capabilities, easiness to operate, maintenance and monitoring
Lead / Perform / Support detailed FIT-GAP analysis and implementation of approved ones
Coordinate with functional experts support the analysis, designs, build, tests of new requirements and SCP Product core template
Ensure the mandatory compliance and controls (Cyber, Quality, Audit…) throughout the entire lifecycle and be the point of contact for Audit, Compliance aspects, etc...
Ensure business continuity during transition period and support legacy applications decommissioning
Ensure continuity of digital solutions and IT services, through appropriate resource allocation in collaboration with other Digital teams.
Build and manage relationship across functional team an effective Product manager/Product Owner team /KUs/COE/Quality
About you
Educational background
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
Additional valuable certifications:
Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
Certified Product Owner (CSPO)
Agile certifications
Professional experience
10+ year experience in product management or product ownership, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience of projects in complex and international environment involving Agile and Digital methodologies
Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries is highly valued
Strong understanding of GxP regulations and their application in digital systems
Experience with digital transformation initiatives
