We're transitioning from founder-led product management to our first product management hire so we can execute our roadmap faster. You will work daily with the founders of the company and our engineering team and be given the resources required for you to move fast and effectively.
As a founding product manager, you will manage the design/rollout of new features, product experiments, customer surveys and interviews, and be deeply engrained in the overall growth and acceleration of the product by executing on our roadmap with precision and speed.
This is the perfect role for someone that is hungry to make real impact at a growth-stage company. This is a hands-on position where you'll be responsible for the full product lifecycle and be able to impact thousands of users.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Product Roadmap \& Execution
Own the organization and execution of our product roadmap
Define features and create detailed specifications in the form of PRDs for the engineering team
Manage release planning and coordination
Customer Research \& Analysis
Conduct customer interviews to deeply understand user needs and pain points
Collect and synthesize customer feedback from multiple channels
Analyze product usage data to identify areas for improvement
Make data-informed decisions in a resource-constrained environment
Experimentation \& Measurement
Create, monitor, and review experiments for product implementations
Break down large implementations into simple tests to validate ideas quickly
Measure outcomes to determine success or failure of product changes
Develop and track key product metrics for performance and user adoption
Requirements
Experience translating product changes and customer feedback into technical specifications for engineering teams
Experience as PM in B2B SaaS or Marketplace
Experience with Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog, or similar product analytics tools
Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions about product features and customer behaviour
Highly organized and able to juggle multiple roadmap tasks
Ability to prioritize roadmap goals and manage engineering resources to meet deadlines
Speaks and writes English with fluency
Able to work in the PST timezone
Thrives in a remote, asynchronous environment
1-3 years of experience in a similar product management role
Not mandatory, but highly valued:
Technical background or software development experience
UI/UX design experience
Personal projects that demonstrate your abilities pertaining to this role
Previous experience with 2-sided marketplaces
