THE MISSION
As a
Product Manager for Merchant Solutions
, you will be responsible for driving and executing Scalapay product strategy to enable our merchants to grow and serve their customers better, both online and in-store.
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager for Merchant solutions and working closely with Sales, Growth and Tech teams, you will drive the development and adoption of our merchant facing solutions, including e-commerce plugins, widgets, merchant facing portals, and future innovations that you will design and build.
Your primary focus will be to ensure our merchant tools and platforms deliver maximum value improving merchant experience, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This includes working across discovery, delivery, and go-to-market phases, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners. We are looking for a high-performing data-driven candidate that brings enthusiasm, passion and creativity to challenge the impossible. You will work both at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas) and at the tactical level (executing the ideas, launching MVPs)
You will:
Drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for all merchant-facing solutions across our EU markets.
Collaborate with Sales and Growth teams to understand merchant needs and continuously refine product-market fit.
Partner with Engineering and Design to deliver scalable, reliable, and easy-to-integrate solutions such as plugins for e-commerce platforms, advanced reporting capabilities, and portal features that improve merchant operations and visibility.
Analyse merchant behaviour, platform usage, and feedback to prioritize initiatives that drive measurable value for both merchants and their customers.
Benchmark competitor offerings to identify differentiation opportunities and maintain a strong product edge.
Engage directly with key merchants to validate hypotheses, test MVPs, and co-design impactful features.
Monitor product KPIs and adapt roadmap decisions to ensure successful outcomes and performance improvements.
You’ll be great for this role if you:
Have at least 3+ years of experience in product management in a fast-paced environment.
Have experience and knowledge of how the e-commerce space operates.
Possess a strong sense of ownership and a proven track record of driving high impact product launches and improvements (we will ask this during the interview).
Have strong customer empathy and are comfortable in engaging with customers and merchants to gather feedback and uncover insights and opportunity.
Have clear urgency to move quickly, scrappy when necessary, but understand the importance of accuracy in a high-volume and regulated transactional environment.
Are able to create mockups and UX flow to communicate your idea quickly and efficiently with both designers and engineers.
Are fluent in Italian \& English (you will work with teams across multiple countries); French or Spanish are a plus.
Experience in a regulated environment would be a plus.
