As an Application Developer Intern, you will play a key role in supporting internal and external users by resolving application-related issues and contributing to software development initiatives. Your day-to-day will include:* Providing technical support and solutions for application issues to Schneider Electric employees and clients.

Participating in the development and maintenance of low-complexity applications and projects.

Assisting in UI design proposals and improvements.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application functionality and user experience.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a mix of technical and interpersonal skills, including:* Solid understanding of Java fundamentals (syntax, OOP, control structures).

Basic knowledge of web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Familiarity with Java 8+ and REST APIs.

Basic SQL knowledge and database interaction.

Exposure to agile methodologies like Scrum.

Comfort using command-line tools (Linux/Windows).

Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, and a proactive attitude.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Service-oriented mindset with a passion for user support.

Who will you report to?

You will report to a Technical Product Manager, working within a collaborative and innovative IT team. This is an individual contributor role, ideal for students looking to gain experience in a supportive environment with exposure to various stakeholders across Schneider Electric.

Qualifications:

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?* Active student in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Developer Apps, or related fields.

Expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.

Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, especially for reading technical documentation.

Passion for learning, problem-solving, and contributing to impactful projects.
