Join Schneider Electric’s Sensor Excellence Center IoT in Grenoble, a cutting-edge lab dedicated to developing innovative connected sensors. As an intern engineer, you’ll be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of 14 experts passionate about electronics and embedded software.

If you’re driven by technology and innovation and want to apply your skills in a stimulating environment, this internship is for you! You’ll contribute to ambitious projects involving smart sensors for various applications. Your mission? Design software tools that facilitate the integration of sensor technology into embedded systems. You’ll develop robust APIs for sensor communication, integrate data processing modules (image, signal, algorithms), and create an intuitive graphical interface for real-time configuration and visualization.

You’ll actively participate in building a showroom demonstrator, working closely with technical and innovation teams. Main Responsibilities* Develop an API to configure and interact with a sensor platform

Process and analyze data from sensors

Create a graphical interface to visualize data in real time

Test and integrate the solution into a demonstrator for a showroom or professional exhibition

Qualifications:

Profile sought:

You are in the final year of an engineering school, specializing in computer science / software development. Preferred schools: INP Grenoble or equivalent institutions. Skills* Proficiency in software and web development

Knowledge of programming languages: Python, C++, JavaScript, CSS

Familiarity with software development tools

Bonus: basic knowledge of signal and image processing is highly appreciated

Curious mindset and eagerness to learn

Strong analytical, synthesis, listening, and teamwork skills

Languages* French: appreciated

English: fluent

Office tools and software Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook*

Optional: Visual Studio Code (VS Code)
