This position sits under the current Manaaki Whenua - Landcare Research (MWLR) group of the Bioeconomy Science Institute.
Kōrero mō te tūranga \| About the role
This part-time (30 hours per week) role is all about enabling our science outcomes through exceptional support. You'll be working closely with the Site Operations Manager (based in Palmerston North) to ensure the smooth running of our Wellington site.
As part of our Site Operations team, you'll help drive best-practice administrative support across our locations. You'll collaborate with science and support leaders, staff, and suppliers to deliver:
Contractor and emergency management that meets compliance standards, along with site-related HSE systems.
Procurement support focused on transactional and tactical processes, ensuring full compliance.
System and process development for site operations — potentially contributing at a national level.
Customer satisfaction, by delivering timely, high-quality services and support to our Wellington tenant partners.
Process efficiency, through contract administration, reporting, and records management for environmental sustainability functions.
Up-to-date sustainability resources, by maintaining our internal environmental site with accurate and relevant information.
