Frontend Developer (React) – AI Medical Imaging
Overview:
SciPro are partnered with a high-growth, commercial-stage spin-out specialising in AI-powered imaging biomarkers that support clinical decision-making. Following a significant funding round led by top-tier PE backers, the company is scaling rapidly and is now looking for a Frontend Developer to play a key role in driving expansion across Europe and the US.
This is a hands-on frontend role where you’ll work on production systems used in hospitals worldwide, contributing directly to technology that impacts patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain user-facing features using React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS/Sass
Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to deliver clean, well-structured and maintainable frontend code
Write and maintain unit tests as part of a high-quality development process
Contribute to the architecture and design of scalable, performant frontend solutions
Requirements
University degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering or similar) or equivalent professional experience
Extensive professional experience with ReactJS, demonstrating technical maturity and ownership of frontend development
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/ES6, HTML5 and CSS/Sass, including responsive design and layout optimisation
Hands-on experience with Redux or comparable global state management libraries
