Job Description
Achieve the Packaging material sourcing target to execute company sourcing strategy
In coordination with KA and R\&D to support business growth for IFS in SEA.
Work with cross-functional teams to develop targeted category strategies to achieve total cost reductions, reduce spend complexity and fragmentation, and ensure that key quality and service metrics are developed and met. Manage and drive year-over-year improvement in total cost of ownership.
Create active, inclusive partnerships with Commercial team, R\&D and Supply Chain, QA, and develop shared strategies/goals.
Category and vendor strategies should be revisited as needed to sustain awareness around changes in approach and vendor capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor in materials or related field of study.
3-5 years of business experience with a multinational company in a Purchasing. Paper/Printing/Packaging/Electronics industry experience preferred.
MBA degree is preferred.
Proven internal and external negotiation skills and ability to work in a collaborative, global team environment that fosters aggressive and effective approaches to sourcing materials/services.
Excellent analytical/spend management skills and ability to produce accurate, professional and error-free analyses in a timely manner.
Ability to prioritize projects and multi-task to meet deadlines and business needs.
Excellent executive level presentation and written communication skills.
Ability to work across functions, countries and regions.
