The Role:-
Restaurant Manager is a key person in a unit or restaurant, he/ she needs to have a very good skillset on people management. The other accountability is to achieve and maintain high standards of Quality, Service and Cleanliness. He / She is responsible for the effective execution of service and maintain restaurant daily operations to meet the Operations of Excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:-
Oversee the operations of the restaurant business including P\&L management, restaurant assets by keep tracking wastage \& loss
Explore business opportunities to maximize sales and profitability
Ensure compliance with the service standard according to guidelines established by management for the designated outlet.
Oversee the scheduling of duty roster or staffing deployment and schedule holiday of section’s staff. (Roster drafting)
To work with the management team to manage total shift operations within an assigned restaurant
Conduct store familiarization of new joined employee, oversee on-the-job training for staff, evaluate their performance, follow up on their progress, provide recommendations on staff movement as required
Ensure overall cleanliness including personal hygiene \& grooming of the staff before on floor
Maintain overall quality and service standards of designated store
To ensure that all equipment is kept within hygiene standards required.
Ensure that Health \& Safety and Food safety working practices are compliance to internal policy \& procedures and government law
To ensure correct stock levels of product during shift with special attention to peak times to assist with service times Manage \& control inventory by conducting monthly stock review compliance to the Finance requirement
Respond to customer complaints related to business operations QSC
Ensure all unit employees consistently demonstrate customer care, selling techniques, merchandising skills and a knowledge of current promotions.
Strive in the achievement of exceeding customers’ expectations. Ensure that every customer is given a polite, friendly and personal service.
Ensure compliance with internal regulations and house rules, discipline staff as required by policy and procedures
Complete and submit various reports or documents as required by Superiors or company standard
Support any Ad hoc assignments by superiors if any
Requirements:-
Tertiary educated or Certificate in Hotel/Catering
4 years or above solid experience in catering industry
Good interpersonal, execution \& organization skill
Strong leadership \& communication skills
People oriented and positive attitude
Candidates with less working experience will be considered as Assistant Manager or Supervisor
