Weâre recruiting on behalf of our client in the health sector, who is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join their project team. Youâll be working closely with the Solutions Architect to design and implement AWS workloads that support essential health services. This is an immediate start contract for three days a week over three months, with a short break during the Christmas period.

What youâll be doing
Architecting, deploying and managing AWS infrastructure using services like EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS and DynamoDB
Designing scalable, secure and highly available systems that meet business and operational needs
Managing and optimising cloud environments including VPCs, IAM roles and security configurations
Automating infrastructure provisioning with CloudFormation, Terraform or Ansible
Writing scripts in Python, Bash or PowerShell to streamline and automate workloads
Implementing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring efficient, reliable deployments
Monitoring and maintaining environments using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Datadog or New Relic
Analysing logs and metrics to identify and resolve performance issues
Supporting incident response, troubleshooting and on-call requirements when needed
Collaborating with developers, operations teams and stakeholders to deliver secure and cost-effective cloud solutions
What youâll bring
Strong experience architecting and managing AWS environments at scale
Excellent automation and scripting skills with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Python or similar
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Deep knowledge of AWS networking, security, IAM and cost optimisation
A proactive, collaborative approach with a strong focus on delivery
Experience deploying or managing Citrix within AWS will be highly regarded
