: Azure Kubernetes Engineer
Salary
: $60/hr - $90/hr (USD)
Location
: Vancouver, BC, Canada OR Los Angeles (Hybrid)
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize Azure AKS clusters for high availability, security, and scalability
Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD, Helm, and GitHub Actions
Configure and manage Azure AKS IAM for secure access and permissions
Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes cluster and deployment issues
Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and application rollouts
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for Kubernetes operations
Requirements
Deep experience with Helm and Go templating for Kubernetes deployments
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, with hands-on experience managing AKS
Experience running multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters at scale
Proficiency with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD and GitHub Actions
Solid understanding of Kubernetes internals, networking, and container orchestration
Familiarity with Kubernetes CNI (Container Network Interface) plugins
Preferred Skills
Experience with Crossplane for infrastructure management through Kubernetes
Strong background in Policy as Code tools (e.g., OPA, Kyverno)
Expertise in configuring and managing Azure AKS IAM policies
